Certification Handbook
The NAMACB Certification Handbook serves as the principal source of information for
applicants seeking certification as an Ayurvedic Health Counselor or an Ayurvedic Practitioner.
Among other things, it provides detailed information about certification requirements of the
NAMA Certification Board (NAMACB), including eligibility requirements, application procedures,
fees, exam registration, exam content, exam administration, the policy on accommodations for
candidates who meet the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act, and professional
ethics and disciplinary procedures.

Updated - PACE Cycle Dates Revision
The new PACE cycle is a two year cycle. The dates are February 1 - Jan 31. There will be a grace period through February to complete the deadline.

Updated - Exam Date Extension Policy and Procedure
Applicant may submit a letter to the NAMA Certification Board to extend their exam date for an additional 90 days to be received at least 60 days before the one-year anniversary date of application. If approved, a $25 fee will be required. Only one extension is allowed.
